The minute we saw this doll we were in love! We love products that make books come ALIVE! This is exactly what this doll does! She is cute, fun and funky – just like the character in the books. While it might seem pricey for a doll at Target, she is priced well ($35.99) for her quality and compared to other Fancy Nancy dolls (that you can find a Neiman Marcus, etc). Nancy is a great role model for girls, she believe in herself! This doll shows that – so what if she is wearing a black and white leotard with a purple skirt! Don’t your remember having fun playing dress up ?! Let the little girl come out in all of us while playing with Fancy Nancy and let your daughters learn to be confident in themselves, whether wearing a matching outfit or not. Many of our ReviewKids are learning to dress themselves and assert their personalities and this doll shows them that it is ok. We often let our Kiddos out of the house in something that is not ‘perfect’ because they are kids and we want them to be happy!
This doll is a great value, she is made well and has put up with being dragged around and dropped and held up beautifully. Not only was this a hit with the little girls it was a hit with their moms as well. Moms were impressed with how ‘expensive’ she ‘looked’ and how ‘durable’ Nancy was. It was immediate love at first site with the girls who reviewed this doll.This doll is found exclusively at Target. This Fancy Nancy doll is great, you can change up her outfit (because Nancy like to layer) – Leotard + Poodle Skirt = Fashionista!
