Maybe you’ve seen these in a gift shop, maybe while on vacation ? That is the only place I would recommend buying these. They are more of a novelty item than toy. The idea is cute: There are books in each Flip Flop shoe, a little story that is water and tear resistant. The stories are about being in someone else’s shoes…. good idea, love it – moral stories are great for kids and helping them understand life lessons. The Flip Flops themselves, are hard, not flexible and not great for walking around in, so no way would I recommend them as shoes, as book holders OK… shoes NO. My ReviewKid wore them around, decided to ditch the books after she got bored with them, lost the books somewhere along the way (they’re small) and then fell repeatedly because if you do not have the support of the book enclosure inside the shoe it becomes off balance. Which equals = injuries. So I would pass on this and find another cute gift idea or another summer vacation purchase. In my personal opinion this are not a flip but a FLOP.
