Product Overview: SIGG is the ultimate green statement. The water bottles are 100% recyclable and made from pure aluminum. SIGG bottles do not leach any harmful chemicals in to your water (i.e. BPA) , and help eliminate waste created by plastic bottles that end up in our oceans and trash. The bottles have a non-porous lining that does not let tastes linger or leave any odor.

Review: Instead of sending your child off to lunch with a plastic water bottle that will eventually end up in a landfill – send them to school with a cool SIGG bottle, that will have their friends asking “Where did you get that ?”. The kids line of SIGG water bottles come adorned with familiar cartoon character or stylish designs. There are over 150 styles and you can even design your own. When I gave our daughter her own Hello Kitty SIGG she was over the moon with how adorable it was! We were impressed with the way the bottle held up through travel, daily use, washings and being in the hands of a 4 year old. The bottle was easy to clean and true to their word, it did not keep any lingering tastes from previous uses. When you use plastic water bottles, even reusable ones, they are sometimes difficult to clean if you use anything else besides water. With SIGG you can drink juice, water, chocolate milk and it cleans right out with no after taste for the next use. We also liked the fact that on the kids SIGG water bottle, the top has to be twisted open, so there is no way of accidentally opening the bottle and water leaking. There is also a permanently attached cap that covers the mouth piece, which we also thought was very nice, in case the bottle is dropped, it is kept clean. Even when left in a car at a high heat the water remained cooler, than if a plastic bottle had been left in the car, and we also did not have to worry about any chemicals leaching into our water from heat exposure. The larger SIGG water bottles, hold a nice amount of water, the only thing we wished was that on the larger bottles, that the cap could be attached some how, we worried it could get misplaced if we set it down. For over a 100 years SIGG has been developing products that not only make life easier, but help make the environment as better place. The SIGG water bottle is reusable and environmentally friendly with still being fun, functional, fresh and stylish.

MommyReview’s Recommendation: Get one for yourself (walking, workouts, around the house… who can beat keeping you body hydrated while looking stylish) and send your kids packing with a SIGG in their backpack! Do not be fooled by other imitation water bottles that look like they are crafted the same, they are not! Be sure to look for the SIGG logo.
