MOMMYReview: Each BFC (Best Friend Club) doll has a distinct personality one is sporty, one is an artist, my daughter chose the ROCKER, she’s a little edgy and we love her; Addison. Though some may feel this is stereotyping at its best we felt its helping girls identify with their own personalities, especially during a time when this is important as you are coming into yourself during the age range of 8-10. The girls can connect to the doll and their back story and through the doll learn about real life issues like a fight with a friend – all while maintaining the importance of family and friendship. My daughter picked out the Addison doll; they are 18” tall and com with two cute stylish outfits, BFC Journal (w/ lock and key) and your very own membership card to the Best Friend Club! This doll is beautifully made for the price ($25-35), it might not have all the details of a $100 doll but for the price point it is well made. The doll has withstood a year of doll play, handling, being toted from car to store and having many makeovers and she still looks great! You can also buy other outfits for her, she is bendable, with 100+ poses,  so you can move her around and take her with you. This doll never left my daughters side she really did become her BFF! We are EXCITED to see that BFC has come out with a boy BFF; CJ and Asian BFF, Yuko. We feel it is important to show all spectrums of ethnicity and gender in dolls (MGA is a good company for this; their dolls are always unique and not so cookie cutter like other doll companies). Way to go MGA!
