As a mom, I’m totally obsessed with children’s books – I use to teach and I was obsessed then too buying books for when I had kids. This is a must have book for any child’s library. We loved the cute twist on counting sheep to sleep! Ava needs her sheep to fall asleep but they go on strike so Ava needs to find some new animals to count to help her get her zzzz’s. The sheep see what a disaster this is (really hippo’s aren’t any good at jumping!) and realize they are the only ones that can help! The illustrations really give the book the added punch and visual emotion.
