I had never used BING before, so I was excited to see what kind of search power it had behind the name I keep hearing. I was pleasantly surprised the way the search is set up, I am a very visual person and the search appealed to that side of me. I was able to get ideas for gifts and see products neatly displayed (which is must easier to view than even in a cluttered store, where you can get overwhelmed with choices). One of my favorite features was that you can connect to your Facebook and see when birthdays are, that way you never have to worry about not getting your friend a gift, on time.
I am a admitted SHOPAHOLIC, shopping online has made my life 1000s x easier, especially since children have arrived on the scene. I don’t avoid shopping online, I welcome it. I also like to ‘window shop’ online, I’ll fill my basket to the limit of all the items I want and then go back and re-evaluate my choices, do I really need that dress with the stripes ? Will those shoes match my outfit ? Sometimes it can be nerve wracking buying online because you’re not sure how an item will look, feel, fit, etc. but I have always been happy with my online shopping once the items have arrived. I’ve learned to trust myself and what I like. The other day I was online shopping and then happened to end up at the same store later that night, I was able to see all the items I liked in person and I still liked them just the same! Plus, I can get items that aren’t offered near me (my favorite curry or udon noodles) since I live about a hour from our metro area. Shopping online saves me gas, time, and avoids migraines. Dragging a toddler around from store to store looking for something specif can turn into a major headache! So thank you Internet and BING for taking my shopping to a whole new level and making it an effortless experience. I’d really be a stress case if I couldn’t go online compare prices, reviews and find the best deals all within in a click of my fingers. Now I’m off to find some cute shoes for summer on BING!
