Product: FuzzyHeads

Company Overview: Whether the kids are snuggled up on the couch watching TV, riding in the car or fast asleep in bed, they will love the FuzzyHeads™ plush toy pillow. This ultra soft character pillow is adorable and beautifully crafted with embroidered features. Moms like the FuzzyHeads™ because they travel well, have no choking hazards and are machine washable.

Plush toy character pillow ideal for nap time, travel in the car, neck support in a car seat and an all-around lovie! Ultra soft minky fabrics are machine washable for easy care.

Sizes: 16” x 4”, 24″ x 6″

Covering: 100% Polyester exclusive of decoration

Filling: 100% Polyester

Machine wash cold

Tumble dry low

Made in the USA of imported fabric

Review: My daughter thought the FuzzyHead was so cute looking, she loved to snuggle up with him and immediately wanted to take her FuzzyHead to school to meet all her friends. I like the fact that the FuzzyHead doubles as a stuffed friend and pillow. The FuzzyHead is not bulky like a pillow pet it’s easy to to carry and use in the car and just the right size. It is a huge plus that there are no choking hazards, so it can be used by all aged siblings in your household. Machine washable is also a huge plus for moms! It was fun that the FuzzyHeads are different than the normal animal pillow available, it’s great that each FuzzyHead has their own personality that a child can connect with. If you are looking for a unique travel pillow or stuffed doll for a gift I would suggest a FuzzyHead.

Where to Buy: Plaid Squirrel

I was skeptical of this award winning tinted moisturizer and it’s price ($38). I tend to lean towards products that have a bit more coverage but I can see now why this product is so well loved. You feel like a princess with a radiant complex when you apply this shimmering tinted moisturizer. It is not heavy at all but evens our your skin tone just perfectly while giving you glowing skin. I really did feel like my skin was glowing. This is all the foundation-moisturizer most anyone will need to give you great daily coverage. To pump it up a notch you can layer with a heavier foundation, it makes a great base for your skin. This product shines through and will be a staple in my daily beauty routine for years to come.

I have medium complexion and used the golden color.

If you’re not familiar with Jason products they can usually be found at high end health conscious stores. Their products are well made and give results. Every morning I use this the lovely smell of citrus infuses me and wakes me up. I’ve gotten many comments on the wonderful clean smell that the products have. The moisturizers and cream are the perfect weight for my skin, not too heavy and not too light , never greasy and leaves my skin perfectly moisturized. I’ve never had an issue with this product causing any breakouts and I am joyful every morning using this product knowing it is safe for my skin and body. These products have become part of my daily skin care routine.

Had the opportunity to try the new Old Orchard Cranberry Naturals juice line. We tasted the Cranberry Grape and Cranberry Raspberry. The Cranberry Naturals line has no HFCS, no Artificial Colors, flavors or preservatives, is reduced-Calories and naturally sweetened. The whole family loved these juices, I thought my favorite flavor would be the cranberry raspberry (as I love all things raspberry) but the cranberry grape won out as the family favorite it was just perfectly flavored not too sweet and not too tart, if you like a tarter taste I would lean towards the cranberry raspberry flavor. These juices disappeared fast out of our fridge! Another great point is that the juice is low in calories and sugar so as a mom you are not worrying about giving your child too much sugar with unnatural juices. There are six flavors in all be sure to check them out for yourself at Old Orchard.

I adapted this recipe from Martha Stewart and it’s delicious, everyone who tried one asked for the recipe and it makes a great deal of cookies! I’m stuffing my face with one right now, they also make a great breakfast (haha)

Carrot Cake Cookies

1 cup packed light-brown sugar

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 pound (2 sticks) butter, room temperature

2 large eggs, room temperature

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

(Can also add nutmeg or a pumpkin spice mix but I just used cinnamon and ginger)

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats (I used instant and they were fine!)

1 1/2 cups finely grated carrots, (about 3 large carrots, or I used the pulp from my juicer after juicing carrots yummy!)

1 cup raisins (I put in 2, we love raisins)

Cream Cheese Frosting

In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine sugars and butter; beat until light and fluffy, 3 to 4 minutes. Add eggs and vanilla, and beat on medium speed until well combined.

In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger; stir to combine. Gradually add flour to butter mixture; mix on a low speed until just blended. Mix in oats, carrots, and raisins. Chill dough in refrigerator until firm, at least 1 hour.

Preheat Over 350

Using a 1/2-ounce ice-cream scoop, scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving 2 inches between cookies. Transfer to oven, and bake until browned and crisped, rotating pan halfway through baking to ensure even color, 12 to 15 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. Repeat baking process with remaining dough. Once cooled completely, use an offset spatula to spread about 2 teaspoons of cream-cheese filling onto a cookie. Sandwich together with a second cookie. Repeat with remaining cookies. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.

Homemade Cream Cheese Frosting

8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature

8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter, cut into pieces, room temperature

1-2 cup confectioners’ sugar

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Place cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl. Using a rubber spatula, soften cream cheese. Gradually add butter, and continue beating until smooth and well blended. Sift in confectioners’ sugar, and continue beating until smooth. Add vanilla, and combine.
